Jason Harris, marine divisional Director, 2020 Yamaha EXR Motor Australia said, we are thrilled to launch the new FX 2020 series, one of the most exciting developments in personal nautical products in recent years. This new design takes one of the most popular WaveRunner platforms to the next level, with a full ship, deck, and control systems. The 2020 series retains the largest proven travel and transportation engine, 1.8 liters, four-cylinder industry while bringing new and innovative design features for more driving and performance experience. Aggressive, fun and globally improved, “he said.

Yamaha’s FX 2020 series Hull and deck receive a complete overhaul of the style, giving the craft a more aerodynamic performance and a bolder look while retaining much of the design heritage of previous FX models. A first innovation of the innovative industry, which responded to the prayers of many personal watercraft enthusiasts, is the inclusion of drains that effectively eliminate the water from the footwell.

Below the waterline, Yamaha’s FX series continues to lead the industry instability and handling with a completely new design of the hull. Integrated Arc Chinas offer an even more enjoyable and comfortable driving experience, while the new intake grille and top loader flanges provide maximum connection and stability in all Water conditions. To facilitate boarding, the new FX comes with a deeper, flatter and softer ascent step.

Other new features include the introduction of a multi-mount system for fixing third-party cameras, loudspeakers, GPS, Fish-Finder or telephone devices. The 2020 model also sees the inclusion of a new extra-large waterproof glove box, increasing the overall storage from 125 to a massive 153 liters. The 2020 FX series WaveRunners are in four model variants, the FX HO and FX Cruiser HO models with natural aspiration and the SVHO FX cruiser supercharged models.

All FX models retain their large fuel tank capacity of 70 liters, while the length of the boat increases from 2cm to 3.58 meters and the width from 4cm to 1.27 meters, on the previous year’s models. The dry weight for the FX SVHO models is at a slight reduction of 372 kilograms, while the FX HO models enter 380 kilograms.

In addition to the FX series, the 2020 WaveRunner series sees Yamaha expanding its range with the exciting version of the brand new EXR Pocket Rocket’modèle racing loan. The Yamaha WaterCraft Group, a part of Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA, today introduced the 2020 WaveRunner series, which includes a redesign of the FX series FX series, a brand-new high-performance EX high-performance model, and major performance upgrades for the Yamaha GP1800R and VXR ready for racing. The products were presented at the company’s annual delegation meeting in San Diego, California, where Yamaha also outlined its strategy to remain the trademark of the fastest growing personal handicraft industry.

“Individual boat sales have been strong this summer and we have overtaken expectations through the board, selling many of our most popular models,” said Bryan SETI, general manager of the Yamaha board. “With the introduction of this product, which highlights many new features and technologies that have never been seen in the industry, we are planning to leverage our dynamics and continue to provide our customers with the best water experience.

Yamaha’s best-selling Yamaha luxury products return with a new deck and shell design, the industry’s first color-touch instrument, logic automatic drainage and an innovative fitting system that makes fitting a fit on the FX a Snap.

For 2020, the FX series includes five models. The Lighthouse FX Limited SVHO, the overloaded FX SVHO, and the FX Cruiser SVHO, and the FX and FX Cruiser HO were normally absorbed. The new FX series deck is aggressive and bold, with elegant flat-tipped and full-carved dishes that are supercar-stylish. The new boat design promotes stability, predictability, and comfort in unstable water conditions. The FX series is the first personal boat to have a colorful LCD touch screen.

The Yamaha Connext® touch screen offers all the vital system information, customized functions and includes a new motion control technology to tailor your driving experience. Drive Control allows operators to program engine speeds and acceleration curves. All 2020 FX WaveRunner models are equipped with a new multi-RAM support system to support a range of accessories (including RAM).

These accessories (sold separately to all FX models except SVHO FX Limited) include Bluetooth® ECOXGEAR® wireless radios and Garmin Striker ™ GPS with a converter. You can take the speakers with you to the beach and the Fish Finder can be quickly removed and stacked away when not in use. The FX Limited SVHO Lighthouse features two Bluetooth® ECOXGEAR® Wireless Headsets, a Garmin Striker ™ GPS Fish Finder with RAM® Sensor and Mounting Material.

“As the flagship of the line, we’ve really figured out how to update the FX series to create incredible water experiences for our customers,” said Scott Watkins, 2020 Yamaha EXR WaterCraft’s WaveRunner product designer. The new touch screen gives more control than ever to the fingertips, with more detailed information and customization than any other craft in history. In addition, we know that customers want to personalize their turn and the multiple assembly systems allow them to make their own craft their own, how they intend to use it, whether they are traveling, making a video, or fishing, the capacity is all over there.

For 2020, the most affordable Yamaha WaveRunner range of bicycles now includes the strongest and lightest EXR of the Rec Lite boats in the water today. The EXR is the award-winning Yamaha TR-1® HO Marine Engine, which features a modified ECU that increases its power by ten percent over the rest of the EX line.

EXR becomes the most affordable WaveRunner for Yamaha Ultra-Lightweight Hull and Deck NanoXcel® 2. The EXR weighs just 540 pounds, which is 60 pounds lighter than the EX Deluxe. It also features a high-capacity input grille and a 40mm pump extension for more versatile handling and performance. The completion of the new EXR is Yamaha’s RiDE® Dual Throttle for excellent handling (also available in the EX Deluxe model).

“No one has developed a personal boat such as EXR,” Watkins continued. “By combining high-performance and ultra-lightweight, it offers the best weight in its class and customers will find it an explosion to roll, unlike anything else in the water today.”

The most sold in industry, the best bonuses, are back in 2020 with improved hooks and racing discs designed for cleaner and more predictable handling of raw water. The new insertion mask has a sheet that feeds the water to the top of the turbine to improve propeller grip and keep the pump connected to maintain maximum thrust during shoots and raw water.

The new engine plate designed for operation is longer to reduce arc lift by accelerating rapidly. The design surface is slightly sloped for the right side of the rocker to give the GP1800R the right driving position for the optimum maximum speed. Additionally, the design surface edges help the GP1800R to be more straight at higher speeds.

For 2020, Yamaha takes the VXR to the next level with performance enhancements similar to the intake mask and seat plate such as the GP1800R, as well as the addition of a NanoXcel 2 shell that dramatically reduces overall weight.

“With performance improvements in 2020, we’ve got designs that have been proven by the best riders in the world and have done something that customers can pull out of the box,” said Watkins. “The result is a completely new character for these WaveRunners that riders and riders will find their desire for extremely high water performance incredibly flexible.”
