“Individual boat sales have been strong this summer and we have overtaken expectations through the board, selling many of our most popular models,” said Bryan SETI, general manager of the Yamaha board. “With the introduction of this product, which highlights many new features and technologies that have never been seen in the industry, we are planning to leverage our dynamics and continue to provide our customers with the best water experience.
Yamaha’s best-selling Yamaha luxury products return with a new deck and shell design, the industry’s first color-touch instrument, logic automatic drainage and an innovative fitting system that makes fitting a fit on the FX a Snap.
For 2020, the FX series includes five models. The Lighthouse FX Limited SVHO, the overloaded FX SVHO, and the FX Cruiser SVHO, and the FX and FX Cruiser HO were normally absorbed. The new FX series deck is aggressive and bold, with elegant flat-tipped and full-carved dishes that are supercar-stylish. “As the flagship of the line, we’ve really figured out how to update the FX series to create incredible water experiences for our customers,” said Scott Watkins, 2020 Yamaha EXR WaterCraft’s WaveRunner product designer. The new touch screen gives more control than ever to the fingertips, with more detailed information and customization than any other craft in history. In addition, we know that customers want to personalize their turn and the multiple assembly systems allow them to make their own craft their own, how they intend to use it, whether they are traveling, making a video, or fishing, the capacity is all over there.
For 2020, the most affordable Yamaha WaveRunner range of bicycles now includes the strongest and lightest EXR of the Rec Lite boats in the water today. EXR becomes the most affordable WaveRunner for Yamaha Ultra-Lightweight Hull and Deck NanoXcel® 2. The EXR weighs just 540 pounds, which is 60 pounds lighter than the EX Deluxe. It also features a high-capacity input grille and a 40mm pump extension for more versatile handling and performance. The completion of the new EXR is Yamaha’s RiDE® Dual Throttle for excellent handling (also available in the EX Deluxe model).
“No one has developed a personal boat such as EXR,” Watkins continued. “By combining high-performance and ultra-lightweight, it offers the best weight in its class and customers will find it an explosion to roll, unlike anything else in the water today.”
The most sold in industry, the best bonuses, are back in 2020 with improved hooks and racing discs designed for cleaner and more predictable handling of raw water. The new insertion mask has a sheet that feeds the water to the top of the turbine to improve propeller grip and keep the pump connected to maintain maximum thrust during shoots and raw water.

The new engine plate designed for operation is longer to reduce arc lift by accelerating rapidly. The design surface is slightly sloped for the right side of the rocker to give the GP1800R the right driving position for the optimum maximum speed. Additionally, the design surface edges help the GP1800R to be more straight at higher speeds.
For 2020, Yamaha takes the VXR to the next level with performance enhancements similar to the intake mask and seat plate such as the GP1800R, as well as the addition of a NanoXcel 2 shell that dramatically reduces overall weight.
“With performance improvements in 2020, we’ve got designs that have been proven by the best riders in the world and have done something that customers can pull out of the box,” said Watkins. “The result is a completely new character for these WaveRunners that riders and riders will find their desire for extremely high water performance incredibly flexible.”
